Greek Life
Southern Arkansas University offers its students many opportunities to become an active part of our campus community, and we believe you’ll find that involvement in a Greek organization helps foster personal development unlike any other campus organization. The core purpose of each fraternity and sorority is to create better men and women through leadership, service, scholarship, and social opportunities. Although each chapter is unique, every organization promotes similar values and ideals.
Greek involvement contributes significantly to the learning experiences that occur outside the classroom. The decision to join a fraternity or sorority can be one of the most rewarding decisions a college student can make during their college years. Joining the right fraternity/sorority can help develop an individual in many facets of life, including scholarship, leadership, service, honor and integrity.
The Greeks on our campus are not only dedicated leaders in their fraternal organizations, but also across the campus. The volunteer efforts by our fraternities and sororities make a vital contribution to our local and regional communities.
As you look through our website, you will find various information, chapter facts, and pictures of the Greek community in action. If you would like additional information or want to become involved in a fraternity or sorority, please contact the Office of Student Activities.
